WELCOME TO TESLA SCIENCE FOUNDATION

Tesla Science Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to promote the heritage of Serbian-American inventor Nikola Tesla through raising awareness of his achievements and contribution in our daily lives, including his numerous patents and inventions. Through educational programs, workshops, and public events, we unite all those who are interested in Nikola Tesla and his work.

Tesla Science Foundation annually selects a few inventors who have demonstrated innovated technology concepts that exemplify Tesla’s lifelong commitment to Science, Industry and the Environment. In addition, each year, Tesla Science Foundation awards people for achievements in science, technology and/or writing, related to Tesla and/or his work. Its mission is to provide assistance to the patent process of new and innovative technologies as well as to include introduction of them to the market by forming an appropriate team of professionals of engineers, attorneys, and business/marketing specialists.

OUR PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE

Tesla Science Foundation was previously established as the “Tesla’s Team of Inventors” on July 10, 2004, whose primary objective was to promote the life and legacy of Nikola Tesla. This, provided opportunities for other inventors to work and learn along side each other. Very quickly, we realized that many people had amble interest in Tesla and his legacy. This led us to form Nikola Tesla Inventors club. Until now, we are still going strong with branches in different cities and countries.

Tesla Science Foundation officially became classified as a nonprofit organization, 501 (c)(3), on January 7, 2010, in celebration of Tesla’s birthday.
Today we connect more than 20,000 people who share our vision of Tesla and those who tell the world about him. We have witnessed great interest in opening branches of the Tesla Science Foundation within the United States, Canada, Australia, Serbia, Russia, Brazil, Turkey, and the rest of the world. We assist and promote those who have no other way to demonstrate their achievements.

EVENTS

Establishing and development of Nikola Tesla Clubs/Nikola Tesla Inventors Club in Serbia

After seven years of experimental work with Tacony Academy Charter SchoolAmerican Paradigm Schools and Franklin Institute from Philadelphia on the project ‘Introducing Tesla to Schools in America’ under the guidance of Director of Tesla Science Foundation US, Ashley Redfearn, we are happy to have you for a partner in continuation of our project.

It is especially interesting, not only for America, but for the whole world, that the most important parts are going exactly to the country of Tesla’s people, but the programs we develop will be available to all schools in the whole world, for free.

Children in America, Serbia and other world countries will have a chance to communicate with their peers to exchange knowledge and creative ideas when socializing and playing. Coronavirus pandemic found us all unprepared and sent us all into a specific state. We don’t know how long it will last, but we know that this is one of the ways to help children not to feel closed up and without the possibility to develop their social life.

During the last seven years, we developed a good methodology of work and training for teachers and children. With the mutual exchange of experiences and knowledge, we are sure that teachers and club coordinators in Serbia will adjust to the established model of work in Nikola Tesla Clubs that we have been developing all this time. On the other hand, this is an opportunity for parents, especially if both of them are working, to let their children be educated by professionals who will in extracurricular activities work on developing new knowledge in children.

Teachers and coordinators of Nikola Tesla Clubs in America are, besides everything, top artists, but above all, professionals of all Science disciplines. They introduce students through art, in a subtle and creative way to new technology and knowledge which gives excellent results in children. Every day is filled with entertainment not only for students and teachers but for their parents too. Several times a year we organize exhibitions of works by members of Tesla Science Club members on the subject of Tesla and his work, from inventions to art/paintings, literary works, and drama, it is all open to the public.

We are especially happy with Director Sasa Jeftic’s enthusiasm and dedication, and other Teachers of Primary School Dragomir Markovich from Krushevac ( Serbia ), as well as our organization Tesla Science Foundation Serbia and its board of Directors, which has been participating in the establishment and development of Tesla Science Clubs for years.
